RAW SHRIMP

  • Place the shrimp in a bowl of cold running water until completely thawed (about 10 minutes).

    Drain water – proceed with desired recipe. Once thawed – do not refreeze.

  • Boil - add a pinch of sea salt to deep pan & bring water to a boil.

    Add raw shrimp to boiling water, cover and turn off the heat.

    Let stand for 8 min. and remove shrimp from the water (shrimp will be opaque in color).

    *** Shrimp must be cooked to a minimum internal temperature of 145ºF (63ºC).
